No, families are required to register their own children for homeschooling, and they must enrol their children. However, we are committed to providing support to our members and will gladly assist them in navigating the registration process.

If for any reason we are to change our minds, can we re-enrol them back into mainstream schooling?

It is important to note that once you have registered for homeschooling, you have the option to move your child back into mainstream schooling if you wish to do so. We offer homeschooling packages that are structured for a term. As part of our business policy, we have a refund policy for a full refund of the 10-week term program. Does Homeschooling create social isolation?

Homeschooling has received criticism for its perceived lack of emphasis on promoting social skills among students. However, it is important to acknowledge that there are numerous opportunities for additional activities that foster socialisation.

For instance, your child can participate in swimming, music, football or gymnastics sessions and interact with other children.

Homeschooling communities: There are numerous homeschooling cooperatives to join, and many can be found on Facebook pages for your state and Australia as a whole.

As a parent, it is essential to provide your child with chances to socialise and engage in extracurricular activities, such as regular events organised by Homeschool Academy.

Does Homeschooling promote emotional freedom?

Home-based education offers a serene learning setting, which eliminates stresses associated with conventional classroom learning. With reduced social pressure, learners can concentrate better on academics, creating a conducive platform for enhanced learning. Furthermore, since home-based learners are independent of peer influence, events of bullying and drug abuse, common with standard classrooms, are significantly reduced.

As a result, students enjoy a safer, healthier, and happier learning environment, which ultimately boosts their self-confidence and self-esteem. Additionally, without the distractions of such vices, the focus is solely on learning, leading to better academic results and preparing learners better for future life.
